Today we decided that the fastest way to get to New Orleans was to go back in FL and get onto I-10. So, after finally getting out of FL we have to head back in... We drove for longer then we usually do just to try and make up for some lost time. Usually we only drive about 1.5hrs a day, that's about all that Adam and I can handle. Today we drove a little over two, we got an early start so it wasn't too bad.
We were planning on stopping in Pensacola so I did some research on some cheap attractions there since it was going to rain all day. I found the Naval Aviation Museum, which had free admission, so we headed there.
The museum was amazing! So much more then I expected. It was enormous and interactive. Many of the planes you could climb into, touch and walk around. They had a fun kid section, and it was a wide open space so Adam ran around most of the day. We spent a few hours here, then we all started to get tired and hungry for dinner!
We spent the night at a walmart right in Pensacola. It was a little too bright, and very cold! We ran out of propane in the middle of the night so around 3 am everyone was awake and decided to snuggle together to get warm. :)
