We are on our way to Mississippi today, the half way point from pensacola to New Orleans. We stopped in Mobile for some site seeing and exercise. While in Mobile we walked around a replica of Fort Conde which is right in the middle of the city. We walked through the historical district and came across a beautiful cathedral (we can't remember the name of it ). We were able to do inside and look at the giant stained glass windows. They were so beautiful and had so much detail it was hard to believe it was stained glass.
Mobile had just had their own Mardi Gras the day before so there were lots of decorations out thar were fun to look at, Adam had fun collecting all the beads he could find.
We left Mobile after a few hours of walking around the city and headed for Mississippi. We drove another 45 mins then stayed for the night. New Orleans tomorrow!!
