New Orleans, LA

We made it to New Orleans around 1 PM today. It was a bit colder then we hoped and It was raining off and on. We found a great parking space a few blocks from Bourbon St. We walked up and down Bourbon Street and tried to take it all in. There was so much to see and so many people, Adam wanted to get down and run around. After a couple hours of walking Bourbon Street we walked back to the RV had a snack then went to a park where Adam could run around for a while. By this time the temperature was dropping fast and I was cold! We packed up shortly after and searched for something to eat. We found a little local Cajon Seafood place in the lower ninth ward. I had never been in a place quite like it, they had all the food out buffet style behind a plastic wall. We waited in line and when it was our turn they asked us what we wanted and put everything into plastic bags. We were pushed through the line quite fast. We got some Cajon shrimp, crawfish, sausage and rice. We sat in the rv and ate it all, it was so delicious!  Very spicy, but I love it like that. We were looking for local fare and I think we found the best place around!
After dinner we headed to a walmart right in town where we would spend the night.  We are hoping for a full day of New Orleans tomorrow!
